Refreshing! Energizing! Titillating! Life changing and Mind blowing are terms to describe a recent experience at Oklahoma University’s Gaylord College of Journalism Media Center for lucky state High School teachers taking part in the Oklahoma Multimedia Workshop funded by the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism.
The opportunity to develop multimedia skills and interact with the crème de la crème of broadcast journalism was not for the faint of heart. Four power-packed days of blogging, twittering , video basics and video editing was just the right combination needed to help teachers reshape how multimedia is used in the classroom.
Kudos to the Radio and Television Directors News Foundation (RTDNF) and the Oklahoma Scholastic Media (OSM) for organizing a truly amazing event. A Special Thanks to Ethics and Excellence in Journalism for funding and supporting initiatives for High School teachers.
A standing ovation for Carol Knopes (RTDNF) and the fine team of instructors which consist of Dr. Sybrill Bennett aka Mutlitmedia Maven, Janet Kerby and Howe's Public School's Tammy Parks. Each of these outstanding presenters kept everyone on the edge of their seats throughout the workshops! If you missed out on this year's event check out the site links provided for future workshops.
